Report: Genoa express interest in exit-bound Milan outcast – likely price tag

Andrea Conti, who joined Milan from Atalanta back in the summer of 2017, hasn’t impressed with the red and black shirt. And after a failed loan spell at Parma, the Rossoneri now want to sell him permanently.

There was a buy-out clause included in the right-back’s contract with Parma, which would have turned into an obligation in the event of salvation. However, the Tardini side were relegated to Serie B and thus didn’t take up the option.

Now, Milan will have to find a new club for Conti as he isn’t in the plans of the club. According to Primo Canale, Genoa have expressed an interest in the former Atalanta man as head coach Davide Ballardini wants to reinforce the defence.

The Rossoneri won’t get a whole lot from the sale of the defender, but the goal is to avoid a capital loss and for that, they need roughly €5m. An amount that the Rossoblu should be able to muster up.
