Report: Huge blow for Chelsea, Man Utd as Milan expect to complete €30m winger deal soon

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have seemingly beaten the competition to the signing of Dani Olmo and are closing in on a €30million deal, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Dinamo Zagreb youngster over the last few months as they look to reinforce in wide areas with young talent.

Olmo has eight goals in 20 appearances this season so far which has earned him admirers among Europe’s elite, and Dinamo sporting director Marko Vukelic actually confirmed that their prized asset Olmo is ‘on the list’ of Milan back in November.

According to Croatian outlet Sportske, Milan have launched a €30m offer for the Spain U21 international star, and Dinamo are willing to let him go as long as they get the go-ahead from his entourage.

The report adds though that Olmo and his team of representatives also want to go to Milan, and that a deal should be completed soon.

The Diavolo look to have beaten strong competition if they do land the 21-year-old, as the MEN claimed that Manchester City and Manchester United are keen, while Spanish outlet Sport claimed Chelsea had placed a bid, and Barcelona have been credited with interest.
