Report: Leicester eye Milan target to replace Chelsea, Man City-linked defender

In January, Antonee Robinson was just one step away from joining AC Milan. He even flew to Italy to undergo his medical as the Rossoneri reached an agreement with Wigan. However, a heart issue was discovered.

Just a few days ago, though, Milanlive.it reported that the left-back is still on the Rossoneri’s list of targets. The heart issue has been solved and Milan could thus return to the negotiating table, in need of a back-up for Theo Hernandez.

According to LeicestershireLive, Robinson has also ended up on the radar of Leicester, who are eyeing a discount as Wigan went into administration last week. Their current left-back, Ben Chilwell, has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Man City.

It remains to be seen if Milan will make a new attempt, although it’s certainly a name to keep in mind given the potential bargain deal. For now, though, the Rossoneri are focusing on the season finale.
