Report: Milan could still land Belotti for free or in a discounted deal with counterparts – the situation

AC Milan seem to be willing to play the waiting game in order to land Torino striker Andrea Belotti on a free transfer, according to a report.

According to the latest from Torinogranata.it, Milan are still interested in signing Belotti but they are not in any hurry and they are focused on Olivier Giroud at the moment. However, if Ibrahimovic’s recovery does not go to plan then Belotti could urgently become a target, or even in twelve months when he would be a free agent.

After the European Championships, Belotti could push for a sale by asking Torino to lower the sale price from the current €30m to a figure between €10-15m, and the Rossoneri could perhaps send a counterpart on loan like Mattia Caldara, Andrea Conti or Jens Petter Hauge to sweeten the deal.

The hypothesis of a renewal would make Belotti an imperishable symbol of the club and would give Cairo negotiating power for a sale in the next two years, and that cnanot excluded entirely. Belotti does not want a move abroad, so Milan are in pole position.
