Report: Milan dreaming of a move for Real Madrid’s Bale but operation is complicated

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are dreaming of a move for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale but they know it is a very difficult deal to pull off, reports claim.

According to a report from Spanish newspaper AS – as cited by MilanLive – Bale will leave Real Madrid this summer but his juge €15m net salary is holding back any potential exit.

The Welshman would have to at least halve his salary to be able to move, but he is not in the plans of Los Blancos and their head coach Zinedine Zidane.

The MilanLive report adds that the Rossoneri management are dreaming of the player, but they certainly would not offer more than €7million net salary for one year, which is the amount that Ibrahimovic receives. The management are hoping, but the operation is very complicated.

Transfer source Louis Girardi meanwhile claims that Milan were offered the chance to sign Bale but instead opted to go for Brahim Diaz.
