Manchester United have reportedly ‘taken the first steps’ to sign midfield starlet Eduardo Camavinga, who has been linked with AC Milan.
Camavinga is a player who has been strongly linked with a move to the Rossoneri in recent weeks as owners Elliott Management look to continue their policy of recruiting talented young players such as Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer – all of whom arrived in the summer.
Calciomercato.com then claimed last month that Milan are ‘always getting excellent reports’ on the teenager, while Mundo Deportivo reported his price tag at €40m amid links with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
According to L’Equipe (via Calciomercato.com) though, Manchester United have ‘taken the first steps’ towards signing the 17-year-old.
Camavinga turned 17 at the weekend and became his club’s youngest ever debutant last December. He has played every Ligue 1 game for Rennes so far this season.
