AC Milan are interested in the idea of signing Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite in January, according to a report.
Calciomercato.it claims that Milan could look to capitalise on ‘good relations’ with the Granata in order to try and sign the Franco-Ivorian, who is also a target for Fiorentina.
Meite’s deal currently runs until June 2023, and the 25-year-old has already played in 20 games in all competitions for Torino so far this season.
According to the report, he is currently valued at around €20million – an amount that Zvonomir Boban and Paolo Maldini could look to lower by inserting counterparts such as Fabio Borini or even lowering the price for the redemption of Diego Laxalt.
Laxalt was loaned to il Toro last summer until the end of the season with an option to buy inserted at €11.5million.
Meite meanwhile played for Auxerre as a youngster before moving to Lille and then Monaco, and he made his way to Turin in 2018 as part of an exchange involving Antonio Barreca.
