Report: Milan’s incoming market can be considered closed bar any ‘surprises’

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan seemed destined to bring in a centre-back this month but they have seemingly decided to wait until the summer. Instead of a short-term solution, they will make a bigger investment then.

The Rossoneri are currently without Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori due to injuries, and the former will be out for the rest of the season. Tomori, meanwhile, might just miss the derby and that is still a huge blow.

Heading into the transfer window, several names were linked with Milan and a few names appeared to be concrete for a short-lived period. Unable to get their top targets this month, such as Sven Botman or Bremer, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara made a decision.

As per Rudy Galetti, the Rossoneri’s mercato can be considered closed on the incoming front, meaning they have postponed their centre-back pursuit until the summer. In the meantime, they are working to offload a few players.

  1. Inter and Juve are boosting their team, we on the other hand buy a striker who has scored 1 goal as a professional, for 4million…pathetic!!
    We need a CB ASAP.
