AC Milan are going through a revolution in the management. Paolo Maldini is set to become the new head of the technical area of the club and is currently in the hunt for several figures as his collaborators in the new directorial team of the Rossoneri.
One of these potential collaborators is Zvonimir Boban, who seems close to leaving his position at FIFA as well as Lazio’s Igli Tare, who Maldini would like as the club’s new sporting director.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Tare is the primary goal for the club for the vacant position and both the Albanian director and Maldini would gladly work with one another. However, the problem is Tare’s potential departure from the Italian capital.
The sporting director of the Biancoceleste has a contract with the club until 2022 and to cancel the agreement, Tare would have to renounce a part of what is due to him or pay compensation personally or with the contribution of Milan, which would be prepared to do so.
