AC Milan are ready to make a ‘big investment’ to fix an area which has caused problems all season, according to one journalist.
It is seemingly no secret that the Rossoneri are still in the market for a new right-back this summer despite Pierre Kalulu’s arrival from Lyon on a five-year deal. Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria have both struggled for consistency all season, meaning a new starter is expected to arrive in addition to the Frenchman.
According to what Vito Angele is reporting on Twitter, Milan are determined to make a big investment to fix that particular area.
Barcelona’s Emerson Royal is a target but the negotiation is difficult, as the Barcelona player has a contract with Betis until 2021. Milan would have to negotiate with both clubs, and the operation would cost around €30million.
This means that Milan could pursue other targets, with PSV Eindhoven’s Denzel Dumfries touted as a possible option by many other media outlets.
