AC Milan and AS Roma could potentially compete to try and bring Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina back to Serie A, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by AS Roma Live, Roma have put Aina on their list in view of next summer given that his contract is set to expire, and he is a target regardless of whether the former Torino head coach Ivan Juric remains in the capital or not.

With his contract expiring, Aina is attractive both for financial reasons given he would be available on a free transfer and because he is able to operate both as a right-back and a left-back. These characteristics, according to their sources, have also attracted the attention of Milan.

The Rossoneri ‘remain vigilant about his contractual situation’ given that they might have to bring in at least one full-back next summer. With Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi’s contracts expiring the end of the season, Aina could come in to replace them and challenge Emerson Royal for a starting spot.

Aina played for Chelsea’s youth academy before making the move to Torino, where he made 113 appearances. With Forest he has played 30 games, amassing one goal and one assist.

      1. Dude is 28 years old plays for N forest, value around 12M, 64 games in Premier 3 goals and 2 assists.
        Serie A 102 games 2 goals 6 assist.

Like I don’t like royal one bit, I don’t rate him.
        BUT JESUS.
In what mind do you look at aina and go, yup he’s better than royal.. if royal is a b lister at best, Aina is a c lister at best. And I’m being generous to the both.

        1. In the mind that acknowledges that he started out his career in Chelsea 😛 I’m not saying we should get him but knowing our track record with their players maybe it isn’t that far fetched 😀

          1. So? It’s not like he wasn’t in Europe before. And while he never became a starter his stats for time played are solid.
Either way it’s low risk since he’d be a free agent.

  1. Milan should sign Monaco Vaderson as Theo back-up. He is young but very matured and good both defensively and attacking.

Right back just swith Terraciano there to compete and grow confidence in his preferred right foot rather than forcing him to play as Leftback.

    Same with Jeminez

    1. Vanderson has played 1 match in his entire career as the left back and 80 some at the rb and then 40 some as a right mid so not really sure why you would get him as a Theo backup.
