AC Milan have made an offer for Saint-Etienne defender Wesley Fofana ahead of the summer transfer window, a journalist has claimed.
The Rossoneri seem intent on bolstering their defensive department with young talent, a mission which has seem them linked with the likes of Tanguy Kouassi – who has just joined Bayern Munich – and Boubacar Kamara from Marseille.
However, French journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter suggests that Milan are serious about landing another Ligue 1 defender in Wesley Fofana, a player Ralf Rangnick is believed to have wanted at RB Leipzig last year.
Fofana has made 23 appearances for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions this season so far, and the Rossoneri have seen a first offer worth a total of €18m rejected.
Saint-Etienne are asking for €30million in order to part with another prized young asset, while Toubache-Ter adds that Milan are willing to make three offers in order to try and get their man.
