Krzysztof Piatek has rejected moves to both Crystal Palace and Genoa, a report claims, as he would only leave Milan for a club of similar size.
MilanNews.it claimed that the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic means that Milan will consider offers that will arrive for Piatek in January with a valuation starting from €35million, or a slightly higher figure.
Calciomercato.it claimed earlier on Saturday that Piatek could become a target for Spurs as Jose Mourinho is considering buying cover for Harry Kane, who will be out for a while with a hamstring tear.
They added that Spurs ‘could throw themselves on the market in search of a striker’ and Piatek – at that moment – would be one of the eligible candidates.
According to Calciomercato – as cited by the Daily Mail – Piatek has already turned down advances from Crystal Palace and Genoa, while Atletico Madrid are also in the race for the Poland international.
If the 24-year-old is to accept a move away from San Siro in January, he has made it clear that he has to join a club with a ‘similar stature’ to Milan.
