Report: Milan target puts hefty Arsenal offer on hold as he makes wish clear

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract with AC Milan will expire at the end of the season and his future remains uncertain. Therefore, the Rossoneri are scanning the market for a replacement, should the Swede leave this summer.

According to Louis Girardi of PianetaMilan.it, Milan could face competition from Arsenal for Luka Jovic, who could leave Real Madrid after just one season. In fact, the English have already presented a hefty contract offer, worth €10m per year (including bonuses).

However, the Serbian has decided to put the Gunners on hold, wanting to wait for Ralf Rangnick. The German manager is expected to lead the youth revolution at Milan for next season, given his impressive track record with young squads.

The Rossoneri are currently in talks with Real Madrid to find an agreement, as the report continues, ready to present an offer: a two-year loan with an obligation to buy set at €40m. It remains to be seen how the Spanish side will respond.
