Report: Milan ‘will not be in Elliott’s hands for much longer’; Braida awaiting call regarding return

By Oliver Fisher -

Former sporting director Ariedo Braida could return to AC Milan in the not too distant future, according to a report.

There has been lots of speculation regarding the future of the Rossoneri under Elliott Management and if in fact the American hedge fund are looking to sell Milan to the first buyer who tables an acceptable offer.

Our correspondent Vito Angele informed us that he had learned through a friend of Braida that talks have progressed to the extent that Louis Vuitton owner Bernard Arnault is close to sealing a deal worth almost €1billion to buy the Rossoneri.

According to MilanNews24.it, Braida – a pillar of the Berlusconi-Galliani era at Milan a key figure in the club’s international successes – may return as a market consultant in the near future.

The 73-year-old has ended his experience at Barcelona and is waiting for a call from Milan if they were to change ownership.

The report adds that the Arnault and Louis Vuitton rumours are still an unknown, but what seems to be certain is that Milan ‘will not be in Elliott’s hands for much longer’.
