Report: Milan, Wolves and Dortmund have not given up hope as Leipzig close on €35m winger

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not given up in their bid to land Dani Olmo, a report claims, even though the Dinamo Zagreb star looks set to join RB Leipzig.

It was reported by Di Marzio on Tuesday night that Milan are still in the race for Olmo – along with Wolves and RB Leipzig – but that €20m was their maximum offer and the Rossoneri are relying on Boban’s good relations with Dinamo.

It was also claimed by La Gazzetta dello Sport earlier on Wednesday that Milan are willing to offer Olmo a key role to convince him to reject the advances of the other clubs.

According to the latest from Sportske – as cited by MilanNews.it – it appears that the soap opera is about to end, as the Spanish playmaker is close to joining RB Leipzig for a total amount (including bonuses) close to €35m.

The Croatian outlet adds however that anything can happen between now and the end of the window with Milan, Wolverhampton, Dortmund still on the player. Olmo has not yet made the final decision on his future.
