Report: Palermo express interest in signing Milan youngster on loan

Marco Nasti spent this past season at Cosenza and was crucial in keeping the club in Serie B. However, for next season, he’s expected to go on loan elsewhere and another second-tier side has come knocking.

After doing really well with the Primavera, Milan decided to send out the now 19-year-old Nasti on loan and it proved to be the right call. This past season, he found the back of the net five times for Cosenza and they were all crucial goals.

Most notably, he scored the only goal in the relegation play-off against Brescia, with the latter getting relegated. According to Giornale di Sicilia (via Francesco Nasato), this hasn’t gone unnoticed as Palermo are expected to ask Milan about a loan for next season.

Palermo finished in 9th place and thus only just missed out on the promotion play-off. The addition of Nasti could perhaps help them and it would be good for the youngster to join a side that isn’t fighting for salvation.
