Talks between AC Milan and Spurs over a move for Krzysztof Piatek have slowed down, a report claims, as the Premier League side are focusing on another target.
Gianluca Di Marzio made the claim earlier on Wednesday that the 24-year-old is moving closer and closer towards a move to the German capital as Hertha Berlin have made a €27m offer.
According to the latest from Sportitalia TV’s Alessandro Jacobone, Piatek would prefer a move to Tottenham before the end of the month as he sees a switch to Hertha Berlin as a step down.
However, the collapse of Olivier Giroud’s move to Inter has changed the entire landscape. Jacobone claims that talks between Spurs and Milan over Piatek have now slowed down as the north London club are instead focusing on the Chelsea target man.
As a result, the window has reopened for Hertha, and now they have set about trying to convince the Poland international to accept a move to the German capital.
L'interesse degli #Spurs per il giocatore del #Chelsea, ha infatti rallent il talk con il #Milan e aperto uno spiraglio all' #Hertha che, pur conscio di partire da dietro, sta prov a convincere il giocatore.
