Report: Polish talent already in Milan but final decision has not been made

By Isak Möller -

The Polish talent Mateusz Skoczylas has arrived in Milan and has already carried out his medical tests ahead of his move from Zagłębie Lubin. However, it has not been decided if he will join AC Milan or not.

Fabrizio Romano first broke the news about the attacking midfielder, stating that Milan had reached an agreement with the 16-year-old. However, it appears the final decision hasn’t been made for the youngster’s future.

According to the Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, the player has undergone his medical in Milan but he’s still evaluating his future along with his family. Sporting Lisbon are also in the running and a decision between the two is expected soon.

In case Skoczylas decides to join the Rossoneri, he will join the Primavera side. He looks like a promising player (you can check out his highlights here) and hopefully Milan will win the race against the Portuguese side.

  1. What’s the point? There is no path to the 1st team for these primavera guys. Every year we sign some “Talent” from random places and never ever to they make it at Milan.

    1. When we are using players like mirante and florenzi (and others we are linked with esp for LB position) to fill up our homegrown quota, i dont know what these guys can do better than the primavera boys, wonder kekerz failed to become a depth player

    2. If one or two of the Primavera make it to the first team, then it’s all worth it, even if they become depth players like Pobega, since it’s very important for the lists. Looking forward to see if Simic or Chaka or some of the other primavera players (Bartesaghi, Colombo, Bozzolan will become more involved in the first team in the next couple years.

On the other hand, players like Kerkez or Tiago Djalo were sold for a couple of millions of profit after we bought them, which is also ok.
