Report: PSG starlet to make final decision by next week – Milan still an option

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are looking for Alessio Romagnoli’s new partner, as both Mateo Musacchio and Simon Kjaer could leave the club this summer. In fact, it seems the Rossoneri have found their No.1 choice.

As we revealed last week, Milan have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain’s Tanguy Kouassi, whose contract will expire at the end of the season. They have even presented a contract offer worth €1.2m per year plus bonuses.

However, the French side are keen on reaching an agreement with the 18-year-old, who will sign his first professional contract. According to Le Parisien, the defender’s priority is to stay at the club, but a final decision is needed at the beginning of next week.

Two or three European clubs are still in the running, including Milan and Leipzig, but it could be difficult to change Kouassi’s mind. The report described the teams interested as ‘outsiders’, as PSG seemingly are closing in on a renewal.
