Charles De Ketelaere didn’t have a successful first season with AC Milan, registering just one assist across 40 appearances. As a result, the Rossoneri are open to a sale and PSV Eindhoven have asked for information.
Milan paid around €35m for the services of De Ketelaere last summer but the No.90 has failed to live up to the expectations thus far. So much, in fact, that the Rossoneri are willing to sell him as long as it’s for around €28m (avoid capital loss).
De Ketelaere has attracted the interest of several clubs from abroad and one of them is PSV Eindhoven. As reported by Eindhovens Dagblad (via Francesco Nasato), the Dutch side have asked Milan for information on the matter.
The interest could become serious in the event of Xavi Simon’s departure, per the report, but it’s difficult to imagine that PSV could pay €28m for De Ketelaere. Aston Villa are also believed to be interested and they have more financial power.
