Report: Rangnick showing significant interest in €10m man for Milan midfield

Ralf Rangnick is already scanning the market for potential targets, set to take over AC Milan this summer. In addition to Paris Saint-Germain’s Tanguy Kouassi, the German is also following Nantes midfielder Imran Louza.

According to the French outlet RCM Sport (via GetFrenchFootballNews), Rangnick is showing significant interest in the 21-year-old, who recently signed a contract renewal until 2024 with Nantes. Furthermore, he also changed his agent.

Although the Rossoneri’s chief scout, Geoffrey Moncada, has always followed Ligue 1 closely, the interest stems from Rangnick and thus also hinges on his arrival. The French side have slapped a price tag of at least €10m on Louza, willing to sell him.

In addition to Milan, Lyon are also following the situation of the player with great interest. Had it not been for the Coronavirus, then Nantes’ request would have been higher, meaning it’s an opportunity for the Rossoneri to pounce on.
