Club Brugge have rejected AC Milan’s improved and final offer for Ardon Jashari, insisting that the €33.5m plus bonuses isn’t enough, according to multiple reports.
Yesterday, Milan tabled an improved offer for the Swiss midfielder, raising the fixed part by €1m from €32.5m to €33.5m. The bonuses were also reduced slightly, while the total amount of the offer remained at the previous €38m.

Igli Tare then commented on the situation to Gazzetta dello Sport, confirming that Milan had sent an important offer to Club Brugge. He also issued a take it or leave it ultimatum to the Belgian side by saying that the Rossoneri won’t go any higher.
Brugge says no to new offer
According to the Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Club Brugge have officially rejected Milan’s final offer for Jashari. In other words, nothing has changed since last week and it remains to be seen what the Rossoneri will do now.

Tomas Taecke of the Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad also added earlier in the morning that the improved offer seems to have been ‘in vain’. Brugge are refusing to be pressured by Milan and have thus brushed the offer to the side, convinced they can get even more.
Considering that Tare said it was Milan’s final offer, one would have to assume that they will move on to other targets now. Time is running out, after all, and Brugge don’t seem willing to grant even the smallest of discounts.

Bring back Sandro T!!!
Why, this guy is better then Sandro
It’s a shit show now, and to consider we sold our best and tested midfielder for 15mill more is so painful, we could have gotten 80mill at least before considering bonuses. But in getting just 55mil we thought we are screwing Feyenoord on the sell on clause, but now other clubs will not want to do easy business with us.
Don’t forget Brugee isn’t getting a penny for CDK sale.
Kvaratskhelia (Serie A Player of the season winner) – €75m
Osimhen (Serie A Player of the year winner) – €75m
Gyokeres – €65m
Rodrygo also around €80m
All UCL qualified players.
But, somehow Reijnders with no UCL football this season is worth €100m.
Those who still thinking Reijnders for €70m is cheap, please continue your sujourn in La La land.
Yes 55m is cheap. Bonuses wont be more than about 62m
What could you expect from a black&blue club…
Brugge is making a huge bet. If this deal is off and they don´t get a better deal from a club that Jashari is willing to accept, they´ll have to reintegrate them into the team to make sure his value stays up. Not an easy thing to do. Milan can always come back next year if they fail to do so.
They are hoping Jashari is heartbroken over not moving to Milan and accepts a full ask transfer to PL or something…
Their improved offer wasn’t one in the first place. Please let’s move on. This is quickly becoming a joke.
It was a fun saga to be honest, but if AC Milan wants to prove it’s serious club and Tare wants to show that he means business, it’s time to move on and seek other players. Another midfielder would actually be better IMO since he won’t have all this drama around him and would probably have trained with his team.
Credit to Brugge, they stood their ground and maintained that 40M€ isn’t 37,5M€ or 38,5M€. They did a gamble and wether or not this will come to bite them in future, only time can tell.
I feel a bit sad for Jashari. He seemed eager to play with us and, according to some sources, even rejected Dortmund (which IMO he should have considered), but neither club seemed to ACTUALLY take him into their considerations.
I saw this coming from a mile away. The reality is that Brugge doesn’t have to sell. And Milan played straight into their hands by testing their resolve. Let’s just close this chapter and move on if Milan is unwilling to come up with an enticing deal. My guess would have been that a base of 35mil and add-ons would have made for a compelling case..
I think now is the right time to go for Guerra
Move on, try Javi Guerra
Who ever sanctioned Reindjers sale for 55mil should be fired. See what 40mill gets you and from a lower league but we just let our best midfielder go for cheap 😔
Furlani seems to have a “50M+ fixed” clause in his head.
He doesn’t know the values of players (as if he understands football actually), but as soon as an offer with more than 50M€ fixed comes knocking at our doors, he immediately wants to sell. Doesn’t matter if he could have sold for 80M€ or 90M€, anything above 50M€.
The only exception to this rule is Leão, where he seems convinced that anything below 100 is not enough.
But that’s just my own theory.
This is a little disingenuous. Taking into account the bonus structure of the Reijnders deal it’s extremely unlikely Milan end up getting less than $65m for his sale.
That’s why I said “fixed” and what we’re getting in total wasn’t my point.
But if you’re still not convinced you can change my 50M+ to 60M+ or 65M+ and see what it looks like.
Yes. Milan needs to pay 35M +5 in bonuses for a midfielder from Brugge, who played there a year and was good. Not the best in league. And City pays 55 + 8 for a guy that got best Serie A midfielder award last season? And it seems reasonable? If they put a 80M price tag on him City would pay.
Jashari is better then both Tiji and Sandro, plus he is younger, so even if we pay 35m, we end up making money and improving midfield. Jashari playing along Modric will only get better, consider him the future of Swiss national team as well and you have a star in your hands.
I am sure he will come, CB are tough like this, remember the last time, it ended up the same
What? I can’t read complete nonsense. They rejected the offer, Tare said it is the last offer. I really hope this is the last time I hear about him coming to Milan.
Marmoush with 40 goals and assists in 24/25 season was bought for €75m.
You guys think these guys rate Serie A that much?
Serie A midfielder of the season who didn’t qualify for the UCL will always cost less.
He wasn’t sold on the cheap. How many times does this need to be explained? No other major club was interested in Reijnders. He’s almost 27 so has no resale value. The deal was structured with bonuses to prevent his former club from getting a bigger share of the fee.
Luiz Diaz, a superior player to Reijnders, was sold for €5 million more, €75 million, so quit your complaining.
70 right away and 5M easy bonuses. Milan won’t get all the bonuses.
Lets not fabricate numbers. Milan at best will get 62-63m with bonuses. Most of the bonuses are fantasy, like winning the balon dor
This is why we should be very careful when we are selling our players. Those people here who are clamouring that Leao should be sold so we can use the fumd to other players should use this as a lesson. Sell ,selll and sell is not always the solution. Imagine 40M for an untested Jashari. My take is that if the guy is really worth it Milan should pay and let’s stop this compromising situation. My fear is that ithis may set precedence when we are buying our important targets
Well said @Dave!
What do these greedy sons of bitches mean 38 m isn’t enough they bought him one season ago for 6m and he had one good season in the Belgian league they probably didn’t want to sell him from the start
“they probably didn’t want to sell him from the start”
Yes actually, and it even was pointed out in some articles.
They already sold De Cuyper, Talbi, Jutglà and Nielsen for a total of 46M€. They’re not in debt and Jashari’s contract still runs for a while, so they don’t actually need that money that much.
If I remember correctly, their president said that 40M€ is the price for which they’re open to consider selling him, not that they want to sell him or that they’ll immediately do so.
You could say, why does this cheap Milan keep trying to save 2M? Stupid argument.
First of all the reports said we had offered 35 mil + 3 mil in bonuses and even if in my view its a more than fair offer for the player its nevertheless Club Brugges right to refuse it but its also our right to make it publicly clear that we wont deal with the club in the future so it becomes clear for any players with the aspirations of joining us that they should think twice about joining them.
Maybe go for Bernabe of Parma instead. Most likely will be cheaper and has some Serie A matches under his belt. Maybe even strike a combined deal for him and Leoni.
Forget him then. And move for Guerra instead. Jashari isn’t worth what they’re asking.
Honestly, I haven’t seen much of either Guerra or Jashari. But just comparing highlight reels, I don’t get why we didn’t go straight for Guerra. He looks like the more special player, also physically superior.
disaster work of Mr Tare. still we can’t buy right defender and central midfielder. they focused on Doue and Jashari, but they are too expensive. we have got so many other excellent players, but no. Mr Tare fixated on Jashari and Doue. disaster.
.
Juanlu Sanchez is a great and young guy. or Valentin Gendrey made big progress.
.
Javi Guerra, Douglas Luiz, Florentino, Anibal Moreno, Andre, Pablo Maia.
We should move one. 40 million for player from belgian league is very high. It is huge gambe, he might turn out to be great, but he might flop, especially that with record high fee, he will have a huge chip on his shoulder. Given that we absolutety must qualify for UCL next season, we should not gamble that much. Its better to sign great full back or striker for that money, and prospect CM like Guerra.
call me crazy but maybe let’s move on?!
You cannot expect every club want to sell their best assets at bargain price. Club Brugge is UCL team with low wage rate. If we are serious, give them that sum otherwise switch to another player in this mediocre management.
Lol 38m a bargain price. Most Serie A mids don´t go for that money.
A telenovela!! Watch Tare bring an improved bid, shuffle the “fixed” parts and reduce bonuses again..in the “lastest” offer. Its a game of poker now and Milan blinked first. Lol.
A league MVP is being sold for 40m from a league not in the top 5, but we sold our MVP for peanuts compared to this.
Why on earth should club Brugge do us a favor? We are not helping matters at all.
How much they bought him is irrelevant now. We signed nocerino for 500k and turned him into a player with 10goals. His former club president called Milan vultures for “cheating” him. Hehe. If Milan feel he’s a rough diamond, pay up. Then polish him into a balon d’or prospect OR MOVE ON! Enough already!!!
Ayyoub Bouaddi
Well, it was a fun dream – if we’re not willing to pay their price we have to move on to ones we can afford. We’ve got a strong midfield this year if everyone can stay fit, time for Max to get the best from it and for Tare to focus on a RB.
I think because we have offered so close to their valuation for the player and if we think this is the right profile for us and avoid panic buying or pursuing plan b or c.
If Milan makes another offer Tare needs to be fired immediately .
e u sure about that?? Do you want Moncada and Ibra picking up random players or a SD with experience that knows how to build up a team. Tare and Allegri are the only ones giving me hope that we might turn the tide otherwise we are f****d. Do people understand that we finished ( with a quality team) in 8th place because of the mess that the cowardly Management of Furlani, Moncada and Ibra while in the banter era we finished higher with players like Kevin Constant.
“Do people” What I want is you to stop pretending you understand how it works. That is first. Second, there are other sport directors. Your hope is irrelevant, not a factor here.
I agree we as fans don’t know how it works…. I’m just pointing out that if we get back to Moncada and co we know the results, we have been there already and firing Tare after 2 months of work is just ridiculous
Can you read? I wrote exactly what I mean. If he makes another offer for Jashari he should be fired. 2 months or 2 hours since he was hired, irrelevant. He said publicly it is the last bid. If he makes another offer he is a joke. We don’t need jokes as sporting directors.
Lewis Ferguson, Kenneth Taylor, Quinten Timber
All are more proven and cheaper than Jashari; Club Brugge have demonstrated yet again how low-level club they actually are… move on
Cool. Let’s move on then. We can even remain as we are in my opinion. After all, we are not playing champions league this season.
Next season is where we will have more advantage of attracting good players after qualifying for champions league (this is trying to take the qualifying for granted btw).
I think the idea of Jashari is to get him know so he can adapt to the league and learn from Modric….. basically Tare is getting the modric replacement in the same year we got Modric. This is just my opinion
*now
Already far too high an offer. Sucks for Jashari but it is Brügge´s fault at this point.
Forget about him and get Frendrup.
We are too cheap 40ml is nothing for player like jashari if we miss this deal then no replacement for reijnders
Leave it at 33.5m
But throw in some academy players but don’t add in selling clauses
Integrating Zeroli will be free.
Cardinale s*n out, Foolani out, Tare, please let us know are we ambitious club or feeder club ?
Are you slow? Do you know how to count? Over €300 million has been spent and you’re claiming there’s a lack of ambition? Stop posting crap.
Yes, there is indeed a lack of ambition.
As claimed by Scaroni, the minium objectif is 4th place so we can reach the UCL, that’s it. The management doesn’t actually care about winning the scudetto, and the quality of the players brought so far clearly shows that.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Why are you explaining to him? He won’t get it. He thinks getting that fee for Reijnders is amazing. And that Luis Diaz is a much better player than him.
Nothing needs to be explained to me. I will do the explaining, not you. At no point did I say the fee was amazing, resorting to lies doesn’t help your argument.
Luiz Diaz is one of the best wingers in the best league in the World, playing for one of the top 3 teams in Europe. That his fee was only slightly more than that of Reijnders not only proves my point, it shows you don’t understand the transfer market.
Gyokeres went for €65.8m and 3 EPL proven players were sold for similar fees – Mbeumo €75m, Cunha €74m, Joao Pedro €63.7m so what are you complaining about the Reijnders fee for? €70 million in on par for his level.
1. You’re confusing minimum with the main objective.
2. Management have invested more than any other Serie A club in the past 2+ years and Milan have a higher net spend, i.e. have taken in less than they have spent, than any other Italian club.
3. The signings are on par with other Serie A clubs. The average transfer fee paid in Serie A isn’t €40-50+ million.
All of this has been explained many times. You don’t have a single argument, none. Stop comparing Milan with EPL teams. We play in Serie A.
Management can be criticised for being incompetent, but claiming they’re cheap is a flat out lie, it means you’re not credible and not a fan. Get behind the team or go and support an EPL club.
“Management can be criticised for being incompetent, but claiming they’re cheap is a flat out lie, it means you’re not credible and not a fan. ”
This is a flat out deflection, I didn’t say they were cheap, I said they’re not ambitious, as in they don’t care about titles, as Scaroni, the president actually said. He literally said it will be nice to win titles, but the important thing was to reach UCL each year.
Outside of Reijnders (who is already gone) and Pulišić, none of the players we brought are good quality.
Last summer Napoli SSC brought Buongiorno, McTominay, Lukaku, Neres and Spinazzola among others, while we brought Morata, Abraham, Fofana, Royal and Pavlović and LITERALLY went for the 2 worst coaches available in Lopetegui and Fonseca. Tell me again how do we fight for a title with players and a coach like those ? How can we compare to Napoli with players like ours ?
We went for a cheaper coach in winter and spent on many players like Giménez, Sottil, Bondo Walker and Félix because the management understood that even that low ambitious objectif which was 4th place was out of reach. We were desperate because we knew how costly it was to miss the UCL.
We don’t have ambitions and we don’t have a project. Pulišić literally put his renewal on hold and demanded clarity while almost every player is happy to leave us for another club.
I’m baffled how can you still look at all of this and try to defend the management.
“Another sad sign of the decline of a once great footballing institution. The seven-time champions of Europe have become a selling club over the past few years. Indeed, Milan were only able to buy Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2023 after allowing Sandro Tonali to join Newcastle. Now, they’re going to be on the look-out for another bargain buy capable of replacing the Netherlands international – and that will not be easy at all. Reijnders was one of the few shining lights in a depressingly dark season at San Siro, somehow managing to win Serie A’s Best Midfielder award in a terrible team that finished eighth in the table. So, while Milan have made decent money on Reijnders, who was acquired for just €20m (£17m/$23m), the 26-year-old is going to be sorely missed”
Goal.com
40m for some unknown soldier it’s too much. Stay calm bro Tare, play waiting game for sure. Take it or leave it.
Club Brugge waiting offer from EPL clubs with minimum 40-50m. The director club wants to create some record sale 😆🤣🤣💰💰💰
They’ve been salty for a while because he immediately said no to all the bottom half epl teams who were gonna over pay for him. Brugge are just angry they’re not gonna get a ridiculous payday for a guy with 1 good season. This money woupd be better spent on Guerra or frendrup anyway
guess we have to wait till tomorrow for the next “final” offer
Not trusting it before I read it from Romano.
Kindly move on from this deal
Perhaps instead of selling Tiji for 55m plus some fantasy bonuses and spending 35m on Jashari. We could have just kept Tiji and accepted the first offer Napoli gave for Musah of around 20m.
Do the maths
Yes but that’s not how this management works.
Like let’s say they have 4 options, they rank them from best to worst and then choose a 5th option which is worse than all of the others.
Jesus, just cash out and look elsewhere…
At this point both clubs are being stubborn – nothing good comes out of something that has to be forced this hard. (just ask my wife)
Even at 40 mil, under Allegri’s system Jashari could improve further and Milan could flip him for 60. But at this rate, either pay or move on already…
So move on and go get Guerra, who was already a better choice e, or use that 30+ to get frendrup who is already serie a proven. This guy has never been worth 40mil. Brugge can deal with the fact they’ve pissed off their own player out of greed now. They’ve been trying to squeeze more money for a month simply because they got butthurt that jashari rejected all lower table epl clubs who would’ve overpaid them. They just wanna sell him to for a ridiculous fee, not caring where he ends up. Move on, he’s not worth it
Stop this soap opera and get kessie back
He is the one we actually need in the mid
Milan has a tendency to wait for last min of summer, plays the waiting game lol. They will come back at him with the same offer after 2-3 weeks. So he misses the summer training, just like CDK woahh lmao
Just sell Estupi (LB whoever that is) AND Get this Over the line!! woahahaha 😀
Im so happy because Bruge not accepted. Now we can look some new player and please dont buy more from 25m. Bring to us Kessie at the end we loves him and he is about 15m now. That money put at Leoni or Emeghe(Strasburg attacker 15goals at france league, very young 194cm) and very strong
walk away
he worth 15m max
Jus forget about him. There’s no prove he could be better or jus another CDK
