Stefano Pioli may have yet another selection headache to contend with ahead of Saturday’s game against Juventus as Hakan Calhanoglu has picked up a knock.
Pioli was forced to face Juventus with four changes to his starting XI from Sunday’s win over Benevento with Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimovic injured, Rade Krunic and Ante Rebic with Coronavirus and Sandro Tonali suspended.
According to the latest from MilanNews and PBP, the condition of Calhanoglu must be evaluated in view of Saturday’s game against Torino. The Turkish playmaker came out bruised from last night’s fierce match against Juventus and today at Milanello he was subjected to therapy.
The report adds that the initial sensations filtering from the treatment room are not positive, and therefore the player is at risk for the match against Giampaolo’s side this weekend as things stand.
