Reports claim Milan are ‘moving forward’ in deal for Faivre with gap now €2.5m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are slowly chipping away at the distance between themselves and Brest in their attempt to sign Romain Faivre, reports claim.

According to the latest from Alfredo Pedulla (via PianetaMilan), Milan want Faivre and the request from Brest was €15m plus bonuses, now it has dropped and the distance is around €2.5m between the offer and the demands of the Ligue 1 club.

Contacts have intensified in the last few hours and all this is because the talks for Jesus Corona of Porto are in a stand-by phase, while for Junior Messias there have been no further talks in the last hours with Crotone.

According to Guillaume MP of Eurosport, Milan are continuing to push for Faivre. The discussions focus on the amount requested by Brest, which the Serie A club seeks to reduce. Negotiations are in progress, but the distance between offer and demand (about €15m) is narrowing and the deal is ‘moving forward’.
