Reports: Confusion from French sources regarding Milan’s pursuit of Simakan

By Oliver Fisher -

There is currently confusion in France as to the latest regarding the situation surrounding Mohamed Simakan of RC Strasbourg.

According to L’Equipe, Milan are slowly approaching the demands of Strasbourg regarding Simakan after a day of intense negotiations.

The Ligue 1 club are asking for €20m to sell the 20-year-old, and after the offer sent a little earlier on Monday (€8million plus significant bonuses) was rejected, a new bid was made worth €12m plus bonuses. In fact, they are now reporting that Milan have made a third improved bid of €15m plus bonuses.

However, Loic Tanzi of RMC Sport is reporting that there is now a high chance that Simakan remains at Strasbourg as the French club are not giving up easily.

According Simone Rovera of Telefoot, the Simakan track is getting complicated for Milan. Strasbourg refused the Rossoneri’s second offer for the defender, the closing of the Italian market at 20:00 does not help. At the moment there are no further bids.
