Reports: Decision from Ibrahimovic regarding Milan return due in next 48 hours

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have asked Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a response regarding a return to the club before Christmas, according to a report.

We revealed on Friday that the Rossoneri remain in the race to land Ibrahimovic despite the fact they have not yet received a reply to their offer.

There were in fact talks between Carlo Ancelotti and the Swede, with the former wanting to bring the Swede to Premier League and Everton, however Ibrahimovic rejected the idea of a return to England.

In addition, we reported that a meeting has been scheduled between Mino Raiola and Milan for before December 26th, when the final decision on a possible comeback could be revealed.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), Ibrahimovic remains the number one January target for Milan. The newspaper adds that the situation will be resolved in two, maximum three days.

Meanwhile, il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews.it – are reporting that the Diavolo have requested an answer before Christmas Day, suggesting that we are 48 hours away from finding out.
