There could yet be further action taken against Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku after last night’s coming together.

Both players were awarded yellow cards for their part in the incident, which saw them come head to head and exchange a barrage of insults at one another, including Lukaku threatening to shoot the Swede.
ANSA (via MilanLive) explains that we must wait for the Sporting Judge to understand if there are any further repercussions after the episode. Referee Paolo Valeri’s report will be examined, and it will then be determined if he may not have noted everything the two players said to each other because they spoke in English.
Lukaku will be disqualified for the semi-final given that he got another yellow card, while Ibrahimovic will serve a ban in the next edition of the Coppa Italia should he still be at Milan for it.
The judge will examine the referee’s report and may ask the FIGC Prosecutor for an additional investigation only if there is insufficient information, and the verdict will arrive on Friday.
The claim from La Gazzetta dello Sport meanwhile suggests that those in charge have no intention of acquiring audio clips relating to the verbal brawl between Ibrahimovic and Lukaku. The TV evidence can be requested by the Federal Prosecutor in the event that there is missing evidence.
If Valeri reports that the booking for the players came only for the face to face an not for the insults exchanged, the Prosecutor could ask for further investigations.
