Reports: Jashari now a waiting game as Milan will not raise €35m bid

Ardon Jashari remains a top target for AC Milan, who have raised their bid to €35m, but now they will have to wait as Club Brugge are holding out for more.

Jashari has been heavily linked with Milan in the last week or so, with talks between the Rossoneri and Club Brugge intensifying. After an initial bid that was fully rejected, Igli Tare has now put €35m on the table between the fixed base and bonuses.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, the bonuses are easy to achieve and Milan are hoping that this will be enough to convince the Belgian side. For now, no response has arrived as the latter are in no hurry to complete a sale.

Jashari to start pre-season with Brugge

Gazzetta dello Sport adds (see photo below) that Jashari is expected to join his Club Brugge teammates for pre-season on Monday, seeing as a move isn’t imminent right now. Milan know that this can be seen as a negotiation trick by the Belgian side and won’t get caught up in any of their games.

In other words, the current bid – which is €30m fixed plus bonuses per the pink newspaper – won’t be improved any time soon. Milan already have the ‘yes’ of the player and as long as that pact remains strong, they are convinced that Club Brugge will eventually accept the bid.

While Jashari clearly has a lot of potential, attracting interest from several big clubs, Milan believe that a €35m bid is already very high and worthy of the player’s qualities. Club Brugge are welcome to ask for more, but the Rossoneri have now put their foot down.

  1. I think we might have an agreement with Brighton for either Kardioglu or Esputian, because it doesn’t make sense to let them have MdC for 18M…

      1. Definitely. And Kadioglu tore the ligament in his toe and been out since November so you’ll need to see if his sprinting is effected because that’s the same injuries that runners get which quickly shortens their careers. Even still he’ll cost about 30m

  2. Jashari holding our mercato. we’re wasting the time. especially, that for this sort of money we could take better or similar skills players. for example Florentino from Benfica, Vini Souza, Santiago Hezze, Oliver Skipp, Anibal Moreno, Igor Zubeldia, Pablo Maia, Douglas Luiz, Marcos Antonio, Jean Lucas, etc.
    .
    ashame that we’re wasting time…

    1. They’re not wasting. Considering Milan gave them time until Tuesday to make up their mind, they probably have alternatives lined up. It’s not Moncada anymore, we have a real SD now. Anyway, I do not know him very well but considering he was Belgian player of the season and is blocking all other offers for us, he’s worth the extra effort and wait.

      1. doesn’t matter. it was his first good season in Belgium league… it seems that he has got Albanian roots like Igli Tare so may be that’s the main reason… for me Igor Zubeldia, Douglas Luiz or Fernando are the best options.

        1. He only moved to belgium this season, and won league mvp.
Also, Douglas Luiz?? The guy was so bad at juve.

          1. Yeah agreed, Luiz only had a good first half 23/24 season at Villa because he was their penalty taker, corner taker, free kick taker which gave him the goals and assists. The final few months John McGinn took over and it was like he lost the motivation and he’s been that way ever since

  3. To all of you that took time to educate renegat, I want to thank you. For these guys will always come here and drop stuff that will leave you disturbed like the banter era.
