AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has not given up on signing Norwich full-back Max Aarons this summer, a report claims.
According to MilanLive, the Rossoneri scouting department have watched Aarons multiple times this season and his name is not a new link given that last summer there was reported interest from Milan. He is a profile that Maldini and the Milan scouting area really like, so much so that they have watched him in person plenty.
Fichajes.com reports that the 21-year-old will most likely leave Norwich City in the upcoming summer, possibly with promotion back to the Premier League under his belt, however Milan are not the only team on the trail of Aarons.
Three clubs are credited with interest: Bundesliga and European champions Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton and Milan’s upcoming last 16 Europa League opponents Manchester United. These are three very wealthy clubs looking for a reinforcement at right-back, and Norwich have set an asking price of €20m for now, but it could rise should they get promotion as they are well on course to.
