AC Milan director Paolo Maldini is keen on pursuing a move for Napoli winger Hirving Lozano this summer, according to a report.
The Rossoneri were extensively linked with a move for Lozano while he was at PSV Eindhoven and while he ended up in Serie A, it was with rivals Napoli that he chose to sign.
According to Calciomercato.it however, the chapter might not yet be closed as Milan could get their hands on Lozano, who is ready to leave Napoli possibly even on loan.
The report adds that Milan’s priorities are the renewals of Donnarumma, Ibrahimovic and Calhanoglu, but then the focus will be hunting for new purchases. The ideas are very clear: the club need a full-back, a centre-back, a midfielder and a winger.
Lozano could help fill the latter need as the Mexico international has not had the best first season in Naples. The report then cites Tuttosport in claiming that Lozano – who has five goals and two assists in 37 appearances this season – can leave on loan.
The possibility of a move to Parma could be open as Gervinho is set to leave, but if Maldini and Milan were to move definitively then it could be too tempting.
Not the right profile.
depending on what he would cost because if we could sign him on loan with an option or obligation to buy later i dont see any problems about aquirring him as he can play on both wings and centrally and has allready been one year in italy so its fair to assume he will have a better next season as he has become more accustomed to the league and country. I doubt napoli allready will cut their losses in regard of the player as he is young and promising at the age of 24 but if we could get him on loan we could also invest cash other places that otherwise would have to be used in the attacking department which potentially could mean we could buy a player like tonali and maybe another marquee signing.
It’s good to go for him as we need a player like him to give us a different dimension
Lozano would be the best signing for us this summer. He’s fast, skillful and can score goals just what we need from a winger
Milan should go for Miranchu the Russian midfielder
Bad idea
