Paolo Maldini was present at Milan’s training ground on Tuesday morning to watch the individual sessions taking place, a report claims.
The Rossoneri technical director of course made the headlines on Monday when he accused Ralf Rangnick of being disrespectful for an interview he gave regarding a potential role at Milan.
This has led to questions about his future at the club especially if Rangnick were to arrive this summer, as he would likely see his powers marginalised.
According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Maldini was at Milanello on Tuesday morning to watch the Rossoneri players do their individual sessions. The former captain left shortly after noon.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are reporting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will quarantine at Milanello, sleeping there and working along for the two-week period he is required to observe following his return from Sweden.
In addition, the paper claims that after Boban’s exit, Ibra’s reference figure has become Maldini: a possible farewell for the technical director could lead Zlatan leaving too.
