Reports: Milan and Juventus battling for Brazilian teenager as agent lands in Italy

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are always on the lookout for young talent and appear to have Santos starlet Kaio Jorge in their sights, according to a report.

Elliott’s recruitment strategy has been clear from the start: they want to make long-term investments in promising and talented young players, occasionally adding players of experience such as Ibrahimovic and Kjaer to balance the group.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan and Juventus are ready to compete for Kaio Jorge, a 19-year-old striker owned by Santos, considered one of the most promising talents in Brazil.

The player could leave for just €10million because of the fact his contract expires in December, and the Juventus management are trying to intensify talks with the player’s entourage, but the competition from Milan remains strong.

According to Nicolo Schira meanwhile, agent Giuliano Bertolucci landed in Milano in order to hold talks with Juventus and Milan over Jorge, implying there is a concrete interest from both sides.
