AC Milan look set to miss out on one of their reported targets as Lille striker Victor Osimhen is apparently closing in on a move to Napoli.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) claimed last week that the Nigeria international is indeed a target for the Rossoneri, who are looking to sign a striker or possibly too given the doubts over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
It has been suggested that the Nigeria international could command a fee of up to €60m this summer after a season in which he bagged 18 goals and six assists in 38 appearances across all competitions, with Liverpool also linked by multiple outlets.
According to Alfredo Pedullà of Sportitalia however, the player is expected in Naples soon and there is already an agreement on personal terms.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia is also reporting that at 12 noon on Tuesday the Lille player left France with his agents and will arrive in Naples soon for talks with the Partenopei, who are looking to make a statement signing.
