AC Milan are looking to get the signing of Kaio Jorge tied up soon but there are three clubs providing competition, according to a report.
According to MilanNews, the Rossoneri management and Kaio Jorge are close, but they haven’t closed yet. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are locked in talks with Santos and are trying to understand if there are the margins to complete the negotiation this summer.
Milan would fill their final non-EU slot, but they could sign a complimentary piece for the attack by investing a moderately low compensation figure. Even is Santos does not arrive, a young centre-forward to mature alongside Ibrahimovic and Giroud should arrive.
According to the latest from Ekrem Konur meanwhile, the 19-year-old Jorge will not extend his contract with Santos, who are aware of this and want to generate at least some revenue from his sale. They will accept €4.5m, which has attracted the interest of not only Milan but also Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Napoli.
