Reports: Milan closing in on sale as defender is Russia-bound after returning from Celtic

AC Milan are close to being able to offload an unwanted defender as Diego Laxalt is heading towards Russia, according to report.

It has been a strange Milan career for Laxalt since he joined from Genoa in the summer of 2018, as he was used sparingly in his first season before being loaned out to Torino, recalled early and then sent out to Celtic for the 2020-21 season, though the Scottish club do not seem keen on keeping him so he will return again.

According to Calciomercato.com, is heading towards Dinamo Moscow as the Uruguayan full-back’s has given his approval to the idea of a move to Russia, and in the next few days a new meeting with Milan is expected to try to define the deal.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) there have been movements in Laxalt’s situation as Dinamo Moscow like the left-back a lot and their offer has the player’s endorsement.
