Reports: Milan expected to sanction loan of young midfielder to Torino imminently

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to sanction the loan of Tommaso Pobega and it could be defined in the next 24 hours, according to reports.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) writes that Pobega will soon join Torino on a dry loan spell for the 2021-22 season. The Rossoneri management have faith in him though and that is why they do not intend to lose the 22-year-old, so no clause pertaining to a potential permanent exit will be included.

Other clubs came forward and showed interest in Pobega after his loan spell at Spezia last season, such as Atalanta, Fiorentina and Spezia themselves, but the Granata and head coach Ivan Juric seem to be the chosen destination. It will be interesting to see where he plays in their 3-4-2-1 system.

Meanwhile, Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com writes that Milan could give the green light to let Pobega leave as early as today, with Bakayoko’s return getting nearer.
