Reports: Milan eye Spurs and PSV full-backs with both players keen on making move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are determined to fix the right-back spot this summer, a report claims, and they have two targets on their wish list.

Davide Calabria and Andrea Conti have failed to impress all season, and it is expected that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will intervene to try and bring a new right-sided defender to the San Siro after Pierre Kalulu’s announcement on Wednesday.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) on Thursday, at the moment the two main targets are Serge Aurier of Tottenham and Denzel Dumfries of PSV.

The paper adds that both players have already made it known that they approve of the idea of a move to Milan, which should make negotiating personal terms a lot easier.

Meanwhile, il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) are reporting that Milan had new contacts with Aurier’s entourage, who gave the go ahead for a transfer to Italy.

They add that Spurs have set a price tag of €20million even if in England they are reporting €27-28m. Aurier’s salary must be considered, as he currently receives around €4m net per year.

It will be necessary to negotiate to reduce the economic claims of the former PSG defender, otherwise they will switch to Denzel Dumfries who has a price of €18m.
