Reports: Milan left bystanders as PSG table tempting offer to Real Madrid winger

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could be left as mere bystanders in the race for Marco Asensio with Paris Saint-Germain having launched their offer, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that Asensio has decided not to renew his contract with Real Madrid and will therefore leave on a free transfer at the end of next month when his contract expires after nine years with Los Blancos.

The Spaniard had taken note of the expressions of interest also received from Serie A – from Juventus and Milan above all – and he has now backtracked on his intentions to join his compatriot Unai Emery at Aston Villa.

Despite the huge salary offer from the English club, the Madrid-based newspaper AS writes that Paris Saint-Germain have come forward concretely, offering a four or five-year contract and good money.

However, Asensio’s decision to leave Real Madrid after nearly a decade is above all the desire to get a starting spot which, which might not be guaranteed with PSG.

  1. If you have followed Milan closely from 2017 to date. And how things pan out. No one should tell you this move won’t be penned to any contract. High wage, starting spot. This move won’t work. This could only work if player reduces his earnings.

  2. I don’t see why this news should affect in any Milan fans or should bring us down despite the use of the word ‘bystanders’.

If he has that much to offer, Madrid would have convinced him to stay.

There are plenty free transfers out there for a lot less wages and ego who could do what he does
