Reports: Milan, Napoli and PSG interested in Chelsea defender with ‘uncomfortable arrogance’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are among the clubs who are keen on signing Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger who looks set for a summer exit, reports claim.

Given that Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia are the only two options at present because Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Musacchio are injured, while Leo Duarte is isolating after testing positive for Coronavirus, Milan’s desire to sign a new centre-back has become a desperation.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Rudiger is surplus to requirements under Frank Lampard and can leave on loan with the option to buy.

The report adds that he has been proposed to Inter and Milan by his entourage, and the German earns just over €3m net per season, thus falling within the parameters of both clubs.

Meanwhile, Dan McCarthy is reporting on Twitter that Milan, Napoli and PSG are all interested in the former Roma man, who has ‘an uncomfortable arrogance’ and Chelsea want to get rid as soon as possible.
