The collapse of the Mehdi Taremi deal did not change Milan’s plans for the attack, and the now-official loan of Lorenzo Colombo to Monza has intensified the search to try and get a centre-forward in before the window closes in four hours.
Patson Daka seemed like the chosen name but that vanished due to the times needed to complete a work permit, so Calciomercato.com confirm that Milan have turned to Sevilla’s Rafa Mir.
Milan also tried to include Divock Origi in the operation, finding a negative response from the LaLiga club. The parties are working to finalize the deal, on the basis of a loan with option to buy at €15m.
According to what Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) is reporting, negotiations between Milan and Sevilla for Rafa Mir are progressing, but before giving the green light to the attacker’s transfer, the Spaniards want to find a replacement.
While waiting for Sevilla’s response, Milan are still keeping the Daka track open. It is a race against time at the Rossoneri.
