AC Milan continue to be linked with a move for Davide Frattesi and could launch an offer this week to try and overtake Inter, a report claims.
According to a report from Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Milan have still not given up on the possibility of signing Frattesi to help their midfield rebuild after Sandro Tonali’s move to Newcastle United which is imminent.
The Rossoneri are even expected to formulate an offer in the coming week which will involve a cash sum and inserting one between Daniel Maldini and Lorenzo Colombo as a counterpart to lower the financial outlay.
Meanwhile, this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (which you can see here) writes that he Milan management are working for Yunus Musah and Tijjani Reijnders but have not abandoned the track that leads to Davide Frattesi.
This could be the week that a meeting takes place between the Rossoneri and the Neroverdi over the 23-year-old.

Who said he wants only Inter? No one, not even his agent. As far as it was reported he was most inclined on returning to his boyhood club Roma.
Inter can afford to buy one player with the money from Brozovic. Well, to be totally accurate, they can’t even pay the one player since they only got 18M€ for him and their targets cost waay more.
Latest rumor says they will try to buy Lukaku (one year loan 8-10M€ and 30M€ next summer) so Lukaku seems to be their main target. IF they can land him, they have no money for Frattesi. Unless they sell Onana but ManU is moving away from him as Inter ask too much.
And his wages, he was the highest paid player at Inter.
Are they even trying to resign him?
If we want him, the offer has to have been made already. Obviously, he’s waiting for Inter, but no doubt doesn’t want to close his options off just yet.
So if this isn’t ready and an option, then move on.
Must be honest I would prefer tijjani and Musah I’ve seen frattesi as a player who plays when the team has upper hand over the opponent
