Reports: Milan to scout four Hellas Verona stars first hand ahead of summer window – the names

AC Milan will take a look at four Hellas Verona players up close during today’s meeting at the Stadio Bentegodi, according to a report.

The Rossoneri will have a tough challenge this afternoon as they are without a number of key players, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.it) Milan are thinking about the future and will observe some of Verona’s top players.

Among the main contenders is certainly Mattia Zaccagni, an attacking midfielder who has amassed 5 goals and 7 assists in 24 appearances so far this season. His contract is set to expire in June 2022, but the interest of Napoli represents an important obstacle. Milan are also admirers of young centre-back Matteo Lovato, who will have his performance scrutinised by one of the best defenders of all time in Paolo Maldini.

The report mentions how two other profiles could arouse Milan’s interest in Antonin Barak – who has already registered 6 goals this season – and Federico Dimarco, who is still tied to Inter but could be an interesting deputy left-back option.
