Report: Milan told to pay €20m in order to land key defensive target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been told the price that they must pay in order to land full-back target Mehmet Zeki Celik, if reports in France are to be believed.

It was recently reported in the Italian media (via Calciomercato.com) that Paolo Maldini, Zvonomir Boban and Ricky Massara will ‘intervene’ in January to resolve the Rossoneri’s ‘problem’ at right-back.

Davide Calabria has already been suspended twice while Andrea Conti had struggled for form, though the latter was one of the best players on the pitch during the recent 1-0 loss against Juventus.

One of the players who has been mentioned as a possible target for January is Mehmet Celik, and according to Calciomercato.com – who cite French outlet Mercato365 – Lille have named their asking price.

The report claims that the Ligue 1 club have decided to slap a €20m valuation on the 22-year-old, who has two assists in ten league games so far this campaign.
