AC Milan have got their eye on three Spurs players who have been told they can leave the club in January, a report claims.
With the Rossoneri having struggled to start the season, attentions have already turned to the winter window, with recent reports claiming the club are ready to do business.
The appointment of head coach Stefano Pioli was confirmed earlier on Wednesday, and he will want to put his own stamp on the squad as soon as possible.
Another team who have not had the best of starts to the campaign are Spurs; the north London club are on a tough run and sit in ninth place, with a lot of their players facing uncertain futures.
Calciomercato.it – who cite Spanish outlet AS – claim that five players have been made available in January: namely Christian Eriksen, Victor Wanyama, Ben Davies, Eric Dier and Serge Aurier.
It is the latter two which Milan reportedly hold an interest in, and the report states that a swap deal involving Dier and Franck Kessie could be on the cards.
Calciomercato.com recently claimed that the Rossoneri are considering selling the Ivorian in January. Premier League side Wolves and Monaco were strongly linked with a €28m move in August.
Meanwhile, Kessie’s Ivory Coast team-mate Aurier is attracting Milan’s interest, the outlet adds.
SportMediaset recently reported that the former Paris Saint-Germain man remains a ‘concrete option’ for Milan, who want to provide competition for Davide Calabria at right-back given Andrea Conti’s poor form and fitness issues.
The report even claims that Eriksen is an option for ‘both Milanese clubs’, but adds that it is Inter who are more likely to make a serious assault for him.
