Reports: Morata completes Milan medical – Furlani present for contract signing

Alvaro Morata has just completed his medical and he will soon sign his contract to become a new AC Milan player, according to widespread reports.

Things seem to have accelerated as planned after Morata arrived back in Spain with the European Championship trophy, and a number of sources have claimed that he would do a medical today and then tomorrow will leave with his family for a well-deserved vacation.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Morata has just completed his medical and is now set to sign as a new Milan player on a deal until June 2028, after the €13m release clause in his contract with Atleti was triggered by the Rossoneri.

MilanNews also state that Morata’s medical with Milan in Madrid has just ended. Now the Spanish striker will meet with his agents, the intermediary Beppe Bozzo and the Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani to sign his contract.

His arrival in Italy is scheduled for the first week of August when the rest of the team will be returning from their tour of the United States.

Morata’s debut – barring any setbacks – should be in the Trofeo Berlusconi against Monza on Wednesday 13 August, which is just a few days before the Serie A opener at San Siro.
