Reports: Pellegri to Milan is a done deal – agreement reached on initial loan deal

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are ready to complete yet another signing after securing the services of Alessandro Florenzi just yesterday. In fact, only the medical and signature is missing for the arrival of Pietro Pellegri.

The news broke just a few minutes ago as Monaco have given the final go-ahead for the transfer of Pellegri. This was reported be the credible Fabrizio Romano and Anto Vitiello, confirming that it will be a loan deal initially.

Milan will pay €1m for the loan and the option to buy is set at €6m. It could turn into an obligation if certain condoitions are met, while there will also be another €1m in bonuses. Given Pellegri’s potential, it’s a good signing for the Rossoneri.

They only have Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the centre-forward role currently and it’s safe to say they aren’t exactly getting any younger. The addition of the 20-year-old will thus also be good for the future.

Nice, one less department to worry about in the final days of the transfer market.

  2. Savo Calcio says:

Good cheap deal with high potential and low risk. Smart, but IMO I’d have rather gone for Scamacca, I don’t know why but I just think he’d be perfect to take over for Ibra after playing underneath him for a year.

Scammaca would’ve been very costly considering he is a Sassuolo player

      1. Martin Bernhard says:

Yeah like 30 mil or more considering its sassuolo who owns the player.

  3. crorossonero says:

I forgot about this guy. A season of training with Ibrahimovic might get him back on the right track.
