Reports: Rabiot still without a club – Milan and two Serie A rivals remain keen

It is approaching the second month of Adrien Rabiot’s spell without a club, and AC Milan are still considering the Frenchman, but they face competition from two Serie A rivals.

Before the summer mercato, it was reported that Milan would look to strengthen their midfield, by adding new profiles and restructuring the current set-up, and we have seen this so far with Paulo Fonseca at the helm.

The main target was Youssouf Fofana, and the operation to sign the Frenchman lasted longer than most fans would have liked. However, the Rossoneri landed the player eventually, and brought him to the club this summer, rather than being forced to wait another year.

Fofana is not the only Frenchman that the Diavolo have held an interest in this summer, and they have held an extended interest in Adrien Rabiot’s situation, and with the midfielder still without a club, they remain hopeful of bringing him to the club.

Calciomercato.com have reported that Milan are still following the situation, as are their rivals Inter and AS Roma, but whether it will turn into anything concrete is yet to be seen, given Rabiot is still requesting outrageous figures from his next club to be.

The midfielder is asking for €7 million per season, and there have been many contacts between him and other clubs, but none are yet to bite.
