Reports: Forward closing in on Milan exit as Besiktas make offer

By Oliver Fisher -

Ante Rebic seems to be closing in one leaving AC Milan and joining Besiktas who have made an official bid, according to a report.

According to Sercan Dikme of SportsDigitale, Rebic is now Besiktas’ priority for the attacking department and the winger is looking forward to the idea of making the move to join the Istanbul club.

The writing has been on the wall for Rebic for some time now it seems as he got less and less usage from head coach Stefano Pioli in the second half of last season, even leaving him out of the squad entirely for the last three matches.

Milan sent a message to the Croatian by not calling him up for the preseason tour of the United States as well, meaning that he is currently still in Italy awaiting news regarding his future along with fellow struggling forward Divock Origi.

Reports in Spain are also claiming that Rebic will leave Milan soon.

  1. Best news I heard today.

Hopefully he will finally agreed to leave Milan. It will be win-win for all party : Milan will get some fund and free from Rebics salary and tax ; Rebic will got chance to reignite his career ; Besiktas will get player that, if return to his best, will be one of the best winger in Turkey Superlig.

      1. Adalah Bang… 5 hari kerja, jam Dinas sampai sore aja.

Hari libur nii makanya bisa pantau terus hehe

Dan di tempatku berita Milan masuk jam 6 sore keatas jadi memang dah free.

  2. I want to thank him for all the goals he did score for us, but it’s best for all parties that he move onto a different team.

    1. No. Origi has never been a starting player for so long so it wasn’t surprising to see him struggling. He arrived with an injury also. He scored some vital goals for Liverpool as a sub with opponents defenses starting to tire up so he is a supersub at best.

  3. I liked Rebic. Strong, powerful shot and big physical presence. I wished he had an absolute goal gluttonous time as a ST and went somewhere. Sucks his Milan career has drawn to a close.
