Reports: Roback closing in on move to Swiss side St. Gallen – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could well sell young forward Emil Roback as Swiss side St. Gallen have come forward with an offer, reports claim.

Roback featured during yesterday’s 3-0 friendly win over Lemine Almenno at Milanello but ultimately has not yet made the step up to being a full senior squad member like some thought was a formality when he was signed from Sweden.

According to what Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky’s Calciomercato L’Originale (via MilanNews), Milan received an offer from St. Gallen for Roback. He adds that the young forward will not be part of the Charles De Ketelaere negotiation, and therefore could end up in Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com is also reporting that the Swiss side are close to signing Roback on loan with an option to buy and a buy-back in favour of the Rossoneri, with the only thing missing being the final approval of the player.
